Campaign URL Builder

Know which campaigns bring the clicks.

Add UTM tags to your destination, copy your URL and get sharing. For social posts, marketing campaigns, newsletters and the real world.

Build your campaign link

Where are you sending people?

Fill in the four required fields. Spaces, punctuation and emojis in campaign tags become underscores when you build your URL. Letters and numbers stay as entered.

Website URL The complete destination, including https://.
Campaign source Where the visitor comes from: instagram, newsletter or shop_flyer.
Campaign medium The channel: email, social, cpc or qr.
Campaign name A consistent name for this promotion or launch.
Optional campaign details
Campaign ID An ID from your campaign records.
Campaign term The paid keyword you are targeting.
Campaign content Distinguish creatives or link placements.
Source platform (optional) The tool managing the campaign. For a newsletter sent with Mailchimp: source = newsletter, platform = mailchimp. Leave blank if you do not need this extra detail.

Keep names consistent; UTM values are case-sensitive. Existing tags for these fields are replaced. Other query parameters and page anchors are kept. Never put personal information or secrets in campaign tags.

No account. No credit card. Just your campaign URL.

Better campaign links. Clearer reports.

Tag the destination.

Paste the page you want people to visit. Source identifies where you share it, medium describes the channel, and campaign groups the promotion. Use content to distinguish buttons or creative variants.

Share it outside your site.

Use tagged links in adverts, emails, social posts and QR codes. Avoid adding campaign tags to links between pages on your own website; they can confuse the picture of where a visitor originally came from.

Read it in your analytics.

The destination website needs compatible analytics installed to report campaign visits. This tool creates tags; it does not install tracking or measure conversions. Scurry click totals are separate from your website analytics.

Is the UTM builder really free?
Yes. Generate and copy campaign URLs without signing up. A free Scurry account is only needed if you want to save a short link and download its QR code.
Will shortening the link remove my UTM tags?
No. Your tagged URL becomes the short link's destination. Scurry redirects visitors to that destination with its campaign parameters intact.
What happens to tags already in my URL?
Source, medium, campaign, ID, term, content and source-platform tags are replaced with the values in this form. Optional fields left blank remove those existing tags. Other query parameters and page anchors are preserved.
Can I use these URLs in QR codes?
Yes. Create a free account, verify your email and save the tagged URL as a Scurry link. Download its PNG or SVG QR code and test it before printing.
